Good morning,
I want to remind everyone that the annual fishing derby will be this Saturday at Tri-County Lake. This event is for any age child that wishes to participate. Please bring your children and come out and join us for a good time. It will begin at 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM. The derby is sponsored by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, Dallas County Judge Chris Stanfield, and the Greenville Baptist Church. Pastor Sharrod Ricks and I have worked to make this an annual event for the past three years. Catfish will be stocked to ensure plenty of fish will be caught. There will be door prizes handed out to some lucky participants.
This week's report will be a short one. We are actively working on several drug investigations at this time. More to come on that later. As you can see from this week's felony Friday, we have been busy!
Mr. Rucker and his crew have been back to picking up trash. They have completed trash pickup on Highway 48 from Carthage to Farindale. They stay busy this time of year mowing and keeping up area centers. The senior citizens center and health unit have been taken care of this week.
